It was born in a medical setting. In 1997, Dr. Masato Hiki was searching for a better way to care for his patients’ skin and turned to CO₂. Carbonated water wouldn’t stay in place, so he found a way to seal CO₂ inside a thick gel. A few months later, he noticed the cheek he’d been testing on looked unusually radiant and firm. Bright Plus adds a generous dose of stable vitamin C (APPS) and has a creamier texture, for a clearer, brighter, more even look. If you’re new to CO₂ masks, or your skin is feeling sensitive, start with the Original.
