RÉgLE was founded by Kokando, one of the oldest medicine companies in Toyama Japan, a coastal city on Japan’s main island Honshu. Established over 140 years ago, Kokando traces its origins back to medicinal remedies that were created in Toyama over 300 years ago.

RÉgLE offers the benefits of time tested Japanese herbal remedies in their Facial Sheet Mask “Deep Moist”, as well as their Clear Wash Powder. Both contain RÉgLE’s signature blend of traditional Japanese herbal remedies, alongside more modern skincare ingredients, for the ultimate in hydration and self-care.

Their hydrating facial sheet mask penetrates skin quickly and deeply for a highly-moisturizing effect using ingredients such as hydrolyzed swiftlet nest extract, a prized luxury ingredient that has long been valued as a skincare superstar in Japan. The Clear Wash Powder features traditional Rosa Multiflora fruit extract, a free radical neutralizer extracted from the dried powder of the Japanese wild rose.

Is Bird Nest Good for Skincare?

Anadromous swallow’s nest, or swiftlet nest, has long been prized as a luxury food and skincare ingredient in Japan. Swiftlet nest is rich in proteins, polysaccharides, and Vitamins A and E. Incredibly expensive, swiftlet nest extract can cost up to hundreds of dollars per one tiny nest. This is because it is extraordinarily labor intensive to harvest, boil, clean, and dry the delicate nests, a process that can take up to 3 years per nest.

Japanese wild roses have long been used in traditional medicines to help reduce inflammation. With high levels of skin-renewing Vitamins A, C, and E, Rosa Multiflora extract is also rich in tannins and flavonoids that help tighten pores and clear away dead skin cells, leaving skin looking fresh and renewed. Rosa Multiflora’s properties are enhanced by combining it with papain enzyme, which removes dirt and dead skin cells left in pores, leading to smoother and brighter skin.
