Tracy's Pick: My Go-To Japanese Skincare Routine for Sensitive/Combination Skin

- Tracy, Creative Brand Director

Hi! I’m Tracy – the Creative Brand Director for Shiko. I love Japanese Beauty! I’m 47, have sensitive/combination skin, and look for nourishing, anti-aging products. I appreciate skincare formulas that are super nourishing, but don’t feel heavy. Here are my Shiko favorites:

STEP 1 - CLEANSE:

Cleansing Balm by Lala Vie – It is sooo delicious to use and takes off every ounce of face and eye makeup, but is so nourishing and gentle. Plus, it’s proven to reduce eye wrinkles by 7%. I mean – Hello. That’s amazing, and I have absolutely noticed an improvement. Bonus? It’s gotten rid of my pore congestion. No more blackheads.

STEP 2 - TREAT:

Anti Aging LotionThis is the all-time best treatment/hydrator and toner in one! It drenches skin in hydration after cleansing, immediately softens skin and infuses skin with so much Ginseng-powered goodness -- my skin drinks it up. I can’t use Vitamin-C products as my skin is too reactive, but I can use this! I’ve noticed my skin is healthier, brighter and tighter than ever before.

STEP 3 - MOISTURIZE:

Ceramide Moisture Milk by Seiso JBeauty –This is the dreamiest, milkiest – soaks right into my skin moisturizer! No greasy finish, just milky goodness. The perfect balance of skin-friendly oils, butters and ceramides. Sometimes, it is all I use! I will cleanse, apply this – and go.

AT HOME TREATMENT:

Spaoxy Gel by Dr. MEDIONBetter than getting an expensive facial. Trust me! I use at least one box of these a month and my skin has Never. Looked. Better. Each treatment is like a clinical facial in a pouch! It’s taken years off my skin, but the biggest difference in my skin is texture. Wow. My pores and skin texture are so much smoother and firmer – and even puffiness under the eyes? Gone!
